Most of my childhood memories are filled with cross
country camping trips and adventurous expeditions across the United States of
America. My parents used to take me to some amazing locations like – Roan Mountains
(Appalachian Trail) near the border of North Carolina. At the beginning of our
hike, I remember standing over the bald with my mother and enjoying the wide
open and amazing view. Those experiences filled my life with wondrous positiveness
and made me the person I am today.
As a parent, it is important to play the part of a
guiding spirit in your child’s life so that, they can explore the world that exists
beyond winter carnivals and video games. Many preschool programs in NYC arecoming up with holiday projects based on the outdoor explorations so as to
encourage the families to spend some quality time with children. These
